Tudie’s Travels is an original children’s picture book series that takes readers on adventures through the eyes of Tudie, a young girl who lives on a small farm in Virginia. Tudie loves to read and play with her toy globe, using her imagination to dream of places she’s never been before. Here imagination comes to life when she spins the globe and is whisked away to vibrant places around the world, each filled with their own traditions, stories, and ways of life. Join Tudie on her journey as she learns about the uniqueness of others and meets new friends!

A Message From The Author
Hi, I’m Shantel. Tudie’s Travels™ was inspired by two of the most important people in my life: my daughter and my mother. Their love, creativity, and imagination encouraged me to create stories where every child can feel seen, valued, and full of possibility.
Like Tudie, I grew up on a small farm in Virginia, spending my childhood dreaming big and imagining adventures far beyond what I could see from my backyard. Those memories fill every page I write and remind me how powerful imagination can be.
My hope is that Tudie’s adventures make young readers feel excited to explore, confident in who they are, and inspired to dream as boldly as they wish. Thank you for being here. I can’t wait for you to discover all the journeys ahead.
